10 Home Must-Haves on a Budget

To me styling your home is just as important as styling your wardrobe. With each season it needs a little re-vamp — maybe it’s switching out toss pillows come spring or adding a few pops of color. Whatever it may be, creating a space you want to be in is key. However, you might not have the budget to constantly be changing up your space — or you have champagne taste on diet coke budget. We all know how that goes.

I thought it would be fun, as we are hopefully soon heading into Spring to share with you some great finds at your local Target! I love Target. And Target.com. I shop them both because sometimes they clearance things online that aren’t marked down in the store. Just a tip to check both! Target has some really great pretties to add a little sparkle to your space. It is so easy to give a room a new look. Switch out a duvet, change-up the shams, re-style your book shelves, or décor on your coffee table. A little change can go a long way!

Right now I am currently obsessing over more than 20 things for my home but I don’t want to bore you with my entire shopping list. Take a look at my top ten must-have items you need to score up from Target now — well, after you’re done reading of course!

Threshold Arc Floor Lamp // I am making an exception for this one, while $70 might not be a budget for a lamp for some — a very similar lamp sells at Pottery Barn for anywhere form $180-$374! So this is definitely — a lamp on a budget. While I love Pottery Barn, sometimes you need to keep the price tag in mind when you are just switching pieces out each season

Threshold Turquoise Wicker Basket // This is the perfect little basket to add a pop of color to any room! It’s versatile too. Use it for magazines, or even mail. If you’re a product junkie it’s great for the bathroom too.

Threshold Blue Ikat Print Lamp // You can’t go wrong with Ikat! Switching out lamp shades is a quick + easy way to spruce up your home.

Room Essentials Blue Floral Small Bins // I love pretty storage. Don’t this just shout spring? They just make me smile

Room Essentials Stripe Rugby Stripe Throw // A throw is a must-have when you are trying to spruce up a piece of furniture or your bed. Laying it across the bottom of your bed or over your favorite chair is a great decorative accent instead of just storing it away.

Upholstered Slipper Chair // For those who would rather update with furniture, go for the perfect accent chair you can place in the corner of any room.

Hurricane // Oh Nate Berkus. A boy after my own heart. And he has a new collection at Target! Get excited. If you haven’t checked it out, make sure you do. I love this hurricane with a nautical touch.

Threshold Stoneware Canister // I am pretty obsessed with these adorable canisters in various colors and sizes. You can use them in the kitchen, bathroom or even in the home office. I always love things that you can give new life too. I’ve used these canisters from tea to hair bows to office supplies.

Threshold Geometric Print Ottoman // Put your coffee table in storage and make it a little more cozy but replacing it with two ottomans. Pair them next to each other to add a whole new look to your sitting area.

Threshold Coral Wall Clock // With iPhone’s constantly in our hands, we may forget to actual place a ticking clock in our homes. This pop of coral is perfect to place in your kitchen or home office. It would look great even in the bathroom. A clock is the perfect accent piece and just a little color.
