A couple of weeks ago I was invited to attend a party at Petunia Pickle Bottom in Ventura with several of my very favorite Southern California bloggers. They were celebrating the launch of their flagship store + their swoon worthy Spring line. I’m not kidding you when I say swoon worthy, after seeing their new spring line, I found myself almost wishing I had another bun in the oven. I have loved Petunia Pickle Bottom for a long time and couldn’t have lived without my shoulder bag with Katelyn + boxy backpack when Brayden arrived. So naturally when I got the invitation to attend, I did a little happy dance and replied yes! Mind you, I live 1 hour, 30 minutes from Ventura with no traffic. Totally worth the 3 hour trip in traffic, especially because I got to ride up with some of my favorite Orange County blogging friends: Nat, Andrea and Summer.

The team at Petunia didn’t miss a beat. From the decor to the food + live music playing, you felt right at home from the moment you arrived. They even sent us home with these adorable goodie bags filled with a tote, luggage tag + a 30% off coupon for a future shopping trip. I may have already used mine to purchase a gift for a friend.
I left feeling inspired, excited and with the realization that when you dream big anything truly is possible. It gave me something to aspire to, to work towards and DeNai, the beautiful + talented creator of Petunia, was nothing short of inspiring to listen to as she talked about her business. How incredible to have a dream and have the privilege of watching it come to fruition with, I’m sure, a lot of hard work, sweat and tears. Listening to her speak was truly my favorite part of the whole evening. I would be in 7th heaven if I had the chance to take her to lunch and have the opportunity to hear more of her story. *hint, hint DeNai! hehe

Isn’t their office space 110% swoon worthy. Some day I will hope to have an incredible workspace like this, filled with pictures, textiles, and pieces that inspire. I’m pretty sure I need to add a brick wall to a room in my home!
