This past weekend marked the celebration of my daughter’s 3rd birthday. After finding myself un-inspired by all things Disney themed (no offense to anyone, but she’ll have plenty of time for those when she gets older) I began my search for something fun, colorful, summery and of course girly. Then while running errands at Target I saw Pinwheels in their dollar section and I immediately fell in love. The color palate was beyond inspiring: light pink, dark pink, tangerine, aqua, and bright yellow. I had so much fun creating all the decorations and I even posted a fun pinwheel cupcake topper tutorial a couple weeks back. The birthday celebration went off without a hitch and we had such a wonderful time in the company of friends and family.
My daughter is quite the little hostess. She greeted every family as they arrived and thanked them for coming and during the party she made sure to talk to all of her guests. She was beyond adorable!! I can’t believe she’s 3! I have to admit it was a bit of an emotional week for me knowing that her 3rd birthday was right around the corner. She’s not a toddler anymore, she’s a little girl. A little girl who will be going to preschool in September two days a week. When did she grow up? I think she could tell that I was having a hard time because she was more than willing to give me lots of extra snuggles. We are so proud of the little girl she’s becoming. She loves Jesus, church, all her friends and especially her family. She is a wonderful big sister and is always looking out for Brayden and giving him lots of hugs and kisses.
I have to warn you this post is about to get picture heavy because I’m so excited about how everything looked.
Thank you to all our amazing friends and family who came and joined us as we celebrated our little girl!!

Looks like everything was a big success. You did a lot of preparation in advance. So much less stress. And look how fancy that Costco cake looks.
