An Evening with The Land of Nod

Last week one of my most favorite online places to shop opened a dream retail location literally 5 minutes from my house. I mean it’s so close, I might as well just sleep in the store. And I would, if they let me. I’ve loved The Land of Nod for a long time, they were even our go to for Katelyn’s room remodel a couple years ago, but to have the chance to see it all in person. To touch, feel, smell and play (yes play) with everything in the store left me swooning.

I love that The Land of Nod has the ability to take you to a far off colorful + magical land. Even Brayden couldn’t pick his jaw up off the floor when he walked in and he’s 3 and a 1/2!! It took all the bribery I could muster and a new red Chevy vintage truck to get him to leave with me.

Last Thursday the Pollinate Media team + several of our awesome local bloggers had the opportunity to attend the VIP Pre-Opening party to celebrate the arrival of the store at South Coast Plaza. It was incredible! Great food, good conversation, plenty of laughter and one broke mama right here! Yup, I bought both kids new bedding. I’ll be sharing some pics of their rooms soon!! In the meantime, let me give you a tour of the store.

Now don’t worry if you’re sad you didn’t make it to the party and you’ve already started spending your money just from seeing all my pics, the store is OPEN to the public so grab your purse, a friend and some Starbucks and high tail it over there. I promise you will not be sorry! Not. one. single. bit. The Land of Nod is on the Crystal Court side, located near Crate and Barrel and on the 3rd floor.
