Last week we talked about 3 myths about work/life balance. Did you get a chance to check it out? This week I’m talking about my first 3 of 6 tips for how I maintain work/life balance. By no means do these make me perfect, but I will be honest and tell you that it’s helped keep me from those 2am late night work sessions. It’s helped me to be less tired, more focused and then at the end of the work day more available for my family. Hopefully you will also find these tips helpful and easy to implement. Remember, anything worth having requires hard work, don’t be afraid of that!
If were were having coffee today, I would ask you about things you do to find balance.
If you’re linking up this week, there are no rules, but I hope you pop by and meet some new friends.

I have set times throughout the day when I stop no matter what, 11:00am to make lunch with the kids and go outside and play for a little bit, 3:00pm to pick up the house and start dinner…I had to acknowledge that I would never have everything done and feel “ready” to switch gears!
Thanks for hosting 🙂

I love this and it’s so true. Acknowledging that we can’t get everything done is very powerful and it helps those around us to respect that we have more than our job that makes us who we are.

Still working on finding some balance! It’s hard with 12 hr shifts three times a week because those days are basically wiped out for me. Great tips that you shared!
