I couldn’t be more excited that you’re joining me for coffee today.
Today I’m sharing some tips for finding time to write + blog in the midst of your busy schedule. I will never say that I’m the guru of balance, but I’ve found a few things that have worked for me. I’d love to hear what works for you.
And, be sure to join me next week because Amanda from Royal Daughter Designs + I will be hosting coffee date together from Blissdom. If you haven’t met Amanda, be sure to pop by her blog and say ‘Hello’ before next week!

I seem to get most of my ideas, at night, while I’m trying to fall asleep and I so refuse to get up and write it. I’ll be in Texas next week, but not for Blissdom, visiting my family

Great tips! I need to be better at doing the journal thing because I always have ideas and by the time I can write them down I’ve forgotten them!

I feel like some of our discussion during our Google Hangout sparked some ideas for this vlog! Thanks for this vlog today… I really needed to hear this week! I’ve been kind of struggling in the writing department lately and I think taking a step back might be beneficial. Blogging shouldn’t be forced, it should be something I love! Thank you, Alissa!
One way I find balance and time to fit it all in is to, like what you said, do what I can when I can! If I have some photos that would work together to make an aesthetically pleasing post, I edit them, upload them + drop them into a post for later!

I love this topic! I actually had a cousin and friend recently ask me how I manage to do my Blog. I love your tips, kind of similar to what I do. Can’t wait to share next week 🙂 have a great weekend.

I do a lot of the same things to help keep creativity flowing, a little yellow notebook in my purse is a life saver when I can’t remember things. Enjoyed linking up again this week.

I use the notes section in my iphone all the time, just jotting down ideas and thoughts. Usually it works like a charm, but once in a while I’ll open a note and be totally confused by the few words I put down!

I absolutely love the coffee date idea and decided to try and join in this week. But my mic on my laptop is broken so I tried using my camera and it took me all weekend to figure out how to convert the MP4 to a file that I could compress small enough for easy upload. So I’m too late to link up properly, but here’s my vlog http://amandaclairedesigns.typepad.com/amanda-claire-designs/2013/03/coffee-date-finding-time-to-write.html
