You’re so cute. Can we just hang out some time? For real – I’ll bring my 2 1/2 year old and our kids can play and we can chat? If only CA wasn’t so far from MO… Good luck on your lasik – can’t wait to read all about it. I’ve considered it for myself but I watched Final Destination and uhm- it kinda freaked me out. I loved your vlog! I really would like to get lasik sometime. My BFF did a few years ago and loves it! She is one of the biggest health/medical worriers I know and she got through without much anxiety at all. They gave her a happy pill before hand. That probably helped a lot 🙂

It’s so nice to catch up with you again this week, Alissa. I’m so excited for you with the Lasik. Although I’ve had some serious eye surgery involving both lasers and knives, unfortunately I’m not a candidate for Lasik. My only piece of wisdom is to know that your eyes won’t hurt. Something odd, but my Dr. told me that eye surgeries don’t produce pain, and in my case, it was true, oddly enough. Be confident in the Lord and also in the fact that the surgery’s been around now for quite some time, and you like & trust your Dr. Awesome. Enjoy the conference too!

You will love Lasik. My mom works at an eye doctor so Ive seen the surgery done. She said not to rub your eyes but you will be fine. Excited to meet you a Influence. Sorry my Repy to your email has sent like 5 times. I don’t know why it’s doing that.

Can I just say that it makes me SO happy to hear that someone else couldn’t find their way out of a paper bag? 🙂 I am always embarrassed when people drive with me and I don’t really know where I’m going. Good luck with your surgery!

So exciting about you getting Lasik! I got it done about 10 years ago and I have only started really needing glasses in the last 6 months or so… being over 40 sucks. But they probably told you that already. I love love love it. Take all the pills they give you – you will need them. I had some pain right after my surgery, but it was because I hadn’t taken all the pills they told me to. When the doctor called to check up on me he said “Take the pills and go to sleep!!!” When I woke up I was much better. So good luck! it’s a snap nowadays. I had an actual blade! ON MY EYES!!! And I still did it!!! yikes!

I am totally the same way when it comes to directions! I don’t know my East from West and I definitely get lost in new cities all the time. So glad to hear someone else experiences the same thing!!

Love your Vlogs! You are so cute and so real! I just have to say once again that you rocked it yesterday at the conference! You are such a natural!! By the way, you also looked darling in your blue dress and boots. Glad I had a fellow boot friend trying to make the weather change into fall!!
That surgery if life changing! I had it six year ago and it seriously changed my life! I’m excited for you!!
