Don’t be embarrassed, that’s such a tiny mistake. Folks like to see when you are vulnerable and real. Sounds like your kids go to a very good school, but the embarrassing part is that no one help you earlier.
I once drove my son to school in by pj because we were running late and I got rear ended at a light. Had to stand in the intersection with the police officer and all in my pjs. Learned me lesson there.

I think as a mom when we’re with our kids and at a school function or such we tend to be more embarrassed when things like this happen. I hope you are having a better week. That’s pretty great that they keep the gas can full for moments like this, way to go school!
