I’m so excited today is Friday! Are you ready to share with me your 5 favorite beauty products? I hope so because I can’t wait to read them. Just so you know, you don’t have to write about the prompt, share what’s on your heart. That way we can encourage you in ways you need to be encouraged. Know that you are loved + worth more than you know. I don’t know what you might be walking through today, but my prayer is that you feel God’s Presence today in a big and powerful way. Let His love move through your heart and comfort you in each small moment today.
Hi Alissa! I’ve been wanting to link up with your “coffee date” and finally did for the first time today! My post isn’t about the prompt (although I kind of wish I would have stuck by that since I would love to share my 5 fav beauty products) but is my weekly round up up thoughts, funny things that happened this week, and things that inspired me (kind of like what I would talk about on a coffee date!). Thanks for having me!
Hi Alissa,
I’m a kind of new follower around here. I have been sucked in by your blog though because you just seem so sweet, like a friend anyone would love to get coffee with.
I did a vlog to link up and as long as I can get it to load right I’ll be linking up.
I really like this coffee date idea.
And as for your questions: I totally think you could rock the new haircut with the bangs.
I don’t have a devotional to recommend, but I did recently read the e-book by Sarah Mae Frumps to Pumps. She calls it a motivotional (motivate/devotional) and is a challenge to getting yourself dressed and put together for a month. It really spoke to me. But you already seem to get yourself put together.
Okay, enough from me for now. Thanks for doing this link up!
Whoops. DIdnt mean to hit submit. 1-I do think you could do the hair. I would probably start with a tiny bit longer of a bang first, because you can always go shorter. 2- you were not serious about the moon, were you?
Dude. The moon? I’ve never once doubted we went to the moon. My grandpa was close friends with Neil Armstrong and worked along side him during that time. The walls of my grandparents hallways were galleries of pictures from NASA, pictures of my grandpa working on amazing projects and pictures of my grandpa and Neil together. Watching Neil go to the moon was a huge event (not only for the world) but in my moms own home. I cannot imagine that my grandpa would have been lying about it for all of these years. 😉
And, the bangs.. maybe start off with a lighter bang? She’s got a LOT of thick hair and that makes it easy to pull off, for her!
I definitely think you can rock those bangs, I wish I was brave enough to try bangs but my hair is WAY too curly. Yay for your birthday month! Hope you have something special planned for yourself 🙂
I love the NEw Day, New You devo by Joyce Meyers but I’ve heard a lot about Jesus calling and would love to get the kids one for my littles. do you have that one?
loved linking up today!
LOVE the hair. I like the choppy kinda look. My favorite thing lately is adding hints of red and purple. Also- I’m in love with my Keurig. Obsessed is probably more like it. Best thing about it? The hubs doesn’t beg me to make him coffee all the time!
Yah…just did my 2nd vlog and linked it up! So excited about the themes….maybe since it is coffee date Friday you could have a theme about “My Favorite Coffee(s)”. Happy Birthday by the way, you have a great B-day month because I have a March bday also, just this last week.
I havent been in the Word like I should, but just got a new devo to start called “Grieving The Child I never Knew”. It was recommended to me by a friend and hope I like it.
I love Bruno Mars, his voice is just amazing! I don’t use my Keurig anymore. For how much coffee I drink, it just became a money tank. Now it’s just stored in the basement. I’m doing my hair next week too and am curious what to do as far as keep growing it or keeping it long, but definitely going back dark.
First off Happy Birthday Month! 🙂
Second, I think you would look really cute with that style. I jus recently colored my hair and did a little chop because I got tired of the layers. I may do a bigger chop once the hubby is deployed in a couple months because I really should not have let the stylist talk me in to the layers.
Thirdly, I haven’t found a devotional that I can stick too. They always seem to feel like a chore to me and that isn’t how I want my relationship with God to be. I have been reading The Secret and I really like it. I really focus more on sharing with God what I want, if it is in his will, then I know it is meant to be.
I am going to have to check back later on to see the other devo’s people have suggested.
I hope you have a great week!!! I hope to do a v-log soon. I am actually going to create a new domain since I feel like I need to “censor” myself on my current blog since my mom reads it although I do not blog anything that is bad. I just feel like at times I cannot me the authentic me.
I didn’t get a chance to comment last friday, but I just wanted to say that I’m having a lot of fun linking up to your coffee dates the last few weeks! thank you for providing such a fun blog link up!
