Life has been more than a little crazy around here.
New roof.
New paint.
New front door, with new paint.
And with all that work going on, my hubby decided to move our Edison power line under ground.
Only one small problem…
Edison Electric won’t lay the conduit pipes under the ground and run the wires for you.
Nope.
You have to do it yourself. Well laying the pipes anyways.
So my hubby rented this monstrosity that digs the necessary 36 inch hole to lay these gigantic pipes.
Then once the hole was dug, he glued all the pipes together…
then…
My Mom and I helped him put them in the hole this tractor made.
It was difficult and frustrating…
and I’m pretty sure my hubby is in need of a chiropractic adjustment and massage.
But isn’t’ he amazing?!
It’s going to be really nice to not see high voltage power wires strung across our yard when it’s done.
That’s for sure!
And just for your enjoyment… a video

Whoa that's awesome! I'm going to have to ask you more about this. We have a huge ugly power line in our backyard too and it's just a sight over our pretty pool. We've often said wouldn't it be nice to not see those wires, but we had no idea we could actually bury them!

If your hubby is anything like mine, he's enjoying the heck out of this project. My hubby loves anything that allows him to play on equipment.
