With the new year already flying by (can you believe it’s already the 6th?) + my new goal this year to be more purposeful, my mind immediately went to my husband. In the midst of the busyness, our relationship and quality time together sometimes always end up taking the back seat. Rather than settling for dinner and a movie, I thought it would be fun to find some fun ways to celebrate our relationship this week. I was so excited when Datevitation reached out to me about their unique and creative ways to give the gift of dates or quality time with the one your love.
Who is Datevitation:
Datevitation is the web’s first custom love coupon book platform. Launched in 2011, Datevitation is the brainchild of Alex Karpman, a UCLA graduate and USC School of Law alum who practiced law for five years at Irella & Manella LLP in Los Angeles before becoming an entrepreneur. “This all started when I gave my girlfriend an iPod for her birthday along with a card describing a fun date night I had planned for us,” explains Alex Karpman, founder of Datevitation. “When she was visibly more excited about the card than the iPod, I knew I was onto something. I set out to build tools and a platform to help anyone in a relationship create the most unique, thoughtful, and romantic gift imaginable. It’s all about giving your special someone the gift of having fun and spending time together.”
Datevitation is a family business run by the husband-wife team of Alex and Olga. You can get to know them on the Datevitation blog, where they offer video guides to date ideas and romantic gestures. You can even watch Alex propose to Olga in a video they posted on Youtube as a Save The Date. How cute of an idea is that?
Come See Inside My Book:
My date book arrived on my door step within days of my ordering it. Yay! I couldn’t wait to give it to Kyle. My goal…. to create memorable dates for us in 2013 with a little help from my friends at Datevitation was underway. Look at how cute the inside is!!! I love how they even include a spot for you to put the date after you go on the date.
Kyle loved all the dates I chose, but I’m pretty sure he’s just excited that I agreed to go skydiving with him again. Guess I better start psyching myself out.

These are adorable! I am doing a home-made coupon kind of free dates and free man time for my guy for our anniversary next week- but this looks far better! Wish I would have seen it sooner!

I did something like this for hubby a few years ago for Christmas. Hubby and I have date nights once a month since my boys go to Grandmas for a monthly visit. We also watch NCIS together every week.
I hope you both have a great time doing all the fun date ideas. 🙂
Have a great week!
