Since December will be here before we know it (and the fact that my Spring Wreath is still on my front door!) I thought I should get a jump start on my Christmas decoration this year. I decide to make a simple {no glue} wreath and I want to share it with you so you can see just how little time it takes to create a beautiful one of kind wreath of your own.
Supplies.
- grapevine wreath
- pinecones
- winter pine
- other greens & foliage
- winter berries
- ribbon
So I took a big pine sprig and actually tied it to my wreath base with burlap ribbon. I then took jute twine and tied it to the wreath in a few other places. This gave me places to wedge my other greens and berries in securely.
I chose a mix of natural looking berries, floral and greenery. I like to mix the pine with other not so traditional wintery pieces for a more interesting look.
Once I had all of my foliage in place I took another fun big ribbon and again tied it right around the whole wreath and then into a bow.
And that was it! Don’t be afraid to play around with different placement and types of greens and berries to suit your personal style. Dive in and get creative and remember there is no right or wrong… there is beauty in the imperfections. 🙂
