I LOVE Halloween so I’m happy to share a simple Halloween project with you today! A little Spooky Crow’s Nest…
All I used was a candle holder, a small nest, mini skulls (dollar store), moss (I used Spanish & regular), a black crow (dollar store), and a festive little hang tag.
Next, I simply stacked it all together. I put the nest on the candle holder, filled it with the moss & then added my mini skulls. *You could add a few dabs of hot glue to secure it if you wanted.
As I arranged the moss, I pulled pieces around here and there to give a more natural look. I then topped it with my crow and tied on my little hang tag. The dollar store crows already have little wires on their feet which makes them easy to stick in the nest. If not you could attach them with wire or glue.
And that’s it! I really like this little guy and his collection of tiny heads. Doesn’t he look proud? 😉 This is a quick and inexpensive touch of spooky-ness… and there are so many different variations of this you could create.
Happy Creating and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
