Here’s a little bit about our new friend
*** GIVEAWAY ALERT. KEEP READING***
Hi, my name is Alyson and I’m the designer behind Eisley Rae Clothing. I first have to thank Alissa so, so much for choosing me. She’s such a sweetheart and I’m so lucky to have met her through Twitter. Thanks, Alissa. 🙂 At one point I had 2 blogs, one for the business and one for my family. It was too much work and so I’ve combined the two. I love being able to blog about my family, my creativity, things I love, things I do and my business!

2. Tell us a little about your shop.
Eisley Rae is a combination of my love for shopping, my love for creating and combining the two together to make gorgeous little things for my daughter. It all started with that… making dresses and skirts for my little girl and others asking me to make things for their little girls. After a difficult summer for our family, my husband and I sat down and decided that I needed something to do for ME, something that was mine. Not that being a stay at home mom to two little ones isn’t enough, but I wanted something that was all mine. Eisley Rae has been a wonderful outlet for me.
3. How did your shop name come to be?
Simple. Eisley Rae is a girls name that I really love, hubby didn’t like it. And, we’re done having kids. So, I got to name my new “baby” Eisley Rae.
4. What got you started with your craft, and selling your items?
I’ve sewed on and off for as long as I can remember. My first attempt at something “real” (see: wearable) was a pair of Christmas PJ’s for my daughter who was 2 at the time. Those resulted in me sewing both armholes shut and tossing them. A few years later when I was pregnant w/my little man, Cohen I decided to try again. This time I only made blankets, washcloths and burp rags. I was doing so well that I decided to move onto clothes and this time, I didn’t sew any arm holes together! yay.
5. Favorite part of your day?
For sure 6:55pm or so. That’s when my kiddos have taken their baths/showers, brushed their teeth and climb up on the couch with me to read. I love getting to spend some calm, quiet time with them after all of the craziness of our days. And then, once they go to bed I get some time for me.. to relax and spend time with the hubby. Win, win situation!
6. What food or food group would you refuse to live without?
Hummus, flat bread and fruit. I LOVE them all. Especially edamame hummus. Delish.
7. Where can we find you?
