To say the last couple months have been busy, would probably be an understatement and of the reasons I’ve been a wee bit absent around here. Turns out when you decide you want to do some home remodeling, the planning and researching phase actually takes up a heck of a lot of time. Well, that and the fact that we kept making changes here and there on the plans before they went to the engineer. BUT … last week we settled on our contractor and an amazing designer, Lindye Galloway Designs and next week we start packing up the house. Lindye has an incredible eye for design and we’re so excited to work with her. Due to some of the interior work we’re doing, new kitchen and bathrooms, we will need to move out for a while.
We are so excited for this project and we will be sharing the whole process over on Instagram with updates here on the blog. Until demo starts in two weeks I’ll be selling as much stuff as we can on Craigslist and packing to prep for the move to our rental. Oh and pinning stuff to my design board… any excuse to be in Pinterest for hours, am I right? Since we’re going with industrial farmhouse look, here are some things I’ve been swooning over for our kitchen.
I’m pretty sure I need all this prettiness in our new kitchen. But first things, first… let’s get the demo started. Don’t forget to follow along #thecirclesremodel.
Have you re-modeled rooms in your home? I’d love to see them! Leave the link in the comments.
