Hello Monday

Hello Monday.
I’m feeling rejuvenated and ready for what lies ahead this week.
I find so often that as Monday approaches, I’m wishing for one more day
to relax, nap, soak in my family.
But tonight, my cup is full.
Full from spending time with friends,
being at church, worshiping,
and ending with family, enjoying dinner
and watching a beautiful sunset.

Hello Creative Tea Time
On Saturday I attended Creative Tea Time,
a lovely event hosted by Tracy and LeAnn.
I dressed up, donned fancy shoes
and spent the day crafting amongst new friends.
From the moment you arrive the decor welcomed you,
as did the smell of delicious home made quiche and coffee.
Each table setting set with glass plates and
beautiful China tea cups.

Hello to learning how to stain wood for the first time
and making a fun wood photo board.
To painting coasters and learning to work with wood and yarn.
Being surrounded by other creatives, laughing and chatting as we worked
helped us to forget the warm So Cal weather we’ve been experiencing.
I didn’t finish my ruffled apron, but only because I was distracted by
fresh home made scones with jam and fresh whipped cream.
It truly was a beautiful day and I was so grateful
to be invited to attend.
