Hello Monday.
Hello new addition to the Circle family.
Hello Oletta, my in-laws new beautiful black lab.
She’s sweet, calm, beautiful and amazing with the kids.
Last summer Katelyn had a traumatic dramatic experience with a dog and has had this growing fear ever since.
For a while I just assumed our sweet little girl who had always loved dogs would soon forget the experience she had and everything would go back to normal. But her fear only grew, and it went from bigger dogs to small ones and spread rapidly to every other animal, fish, bird and bug you can imagine. When my in-laws told us about Oletta, both the kids were excited, but we spent a lot of time prepping Katelyn to meet her. We knew that her fear could impact how Brayden reacted to her as well.
But both kids did amazing and we are so proud of Katelyn for facing her fear head on and loving on our new family member all weekend long. We couldn’t be more excited and more in love with her.
Hello to lots and lots of puppy kisses and hugs.
Hello to those adorable big, brown eyes.
Hello to being the official babysitters when my in laws go out of town. We can’t wait!!
Hello to a spontaneous cupcake adventure.
Hello to a sweet friend who let us taste test her new cupcake flavor…. and let us pop by to pick them up 25 minutes after she texted me I could have 4!
Hello to sugary content faces right before a trip to the Red Dot Boutique.
Hello to two kids who made it though our trip with no meltdowns and all smiles. Whew!
Hello new week.
We have VBS at church this week and I’m co-directing.
Pray for me, this week is going to be a long, but exciting one. I can’t wait to see what God is going to do in our kids lives.

What a sweet looking dog! Helping kids understand how to behave around animals and how to understand pet body language is key to reducing the chance of bites. Good for your little girl being brave and striving to overcome her fears!

We had our VBS a few weeks ago. It was a great success and yours will be too!! Enjoy helping kids make the best decision of their life when they learn that God loves them…each and every one….and Jesus wants to be their Forever Friend.
p.s. what’s your VBS theme?

Looove the dog! My family had a black lab that we got when I was like 10/11, and she was seriously the BEST DOG EVER. Unfortunately, she died a couple of weeks before I got married; it was/is so sad. My family got a new Lab puppy for Christmas, and hopefully, once we have our own place, we’ll be getting a Lab or two! 🙂

What a gorgeous dog! I’m so glad she overcame her fear. Animals (namely dogs, for me!) are such an important part of life. I can’t imagine life without the wonderful dogs I grew up with…
