Is there a time of year that you absolutely love?
I absolutely love the Christmas holiday season!
I love decorating my home, putting up the tree, taking out the nativity,
enjoying a visit from Gelf, our Elf on the Shelf.
Ahh, all I need is a cup of hot chocolate and I’m set. Wish marshmallows of course.
The year I headed to Kmart to check out their holiday selection.
I’ve really been wanting to mix in some colorful ornaments in the midst of all the sentimental ones I’ve collected over the years.
I was a little bit nervous when I got there.
Can I tell you a secret?
I’ve never shopped for new ornaments for our tree!
Eek!
I know, it’s crazy.
It’s just my Mom gave me so many of the beautiful and memory filled ornaments we put on our tree while I was growing up.
For the last seven years, those are the same ornaments my hubby and I put on our tree.
It truly is wonderful.
This year, as I headed to Kmart, I had some theme ideas in mind.
I wanted reds, golds, pinks and aquas to add to my tree.
Kmart had so many amazing ornaments to choose from, I almost had a hard time picking.
Plus they had some amazing sales going already.
I finally settled on some amazing ornaments.
