After doing a little bit of shopping at World Market this week for some fun ways to spruce up our home for spring, it got me really thinking again about how much I really would love to re-paint our living room and actually work to put some decor up on the walls. See when we bought our home 3 years ago, I was deathly afraid of paint + had no clue how to mix and match colors and patterns. Now I feel as though I really settling into our home and it’s blank walls and brown paint, mixed with our beige couch are starting to scream for a makeover.
I’ve got some ideas for where I can add a couple gallery walls, but there’s nothing like heading to Pinterest for a little home inspiration. I could seriously get lost on there for hours. Our family room is long and rectangular and the shape allows us to have a U-shaped couch, but no ability to move furniture around, which I hate! But I’ll live with it. I’d love to go with a gray and white palette and then eventually add a tile or stone look to our fire place. Here’s a little peek into what’s inspiring me.
