I find that so often I am given the opportunity to do something for others and many times I shy away from it. Not sure exactly why that is, but I do. Well this is a new year and I’m turning over a new leaf. That’s not to say that I will always be in the position to help, but if I can, I’m sure going to try. So that’s why when Crystal from Domestic, But Not Martha emailed me, her email tugged at my heart strings and I found myself emailing her back, “I’m in!” Now I’m reaching out to all of you, I’m going to tug at your heart strings a little, I hope. Crystal’s friend’s the Sear’s Family have a young son, Mason, whose life has turned into what they call, “a riddle.” Each day brings new symptoms that require new treatments and with insurance only covering so much, they owe the hospital over $64,000. I can’t even begin to imagine. You can read more of his story here. Please, please read his story, it will break your heart like it did mine!
Here’s Mason:
Here are just a few of the pieces: Dyspraxia with Aspiration, Sensory Processing Disorder, G-tubes…
Crystal has put together a series of packages you can bid on over at her blog. All of the money will go directly to the Sear’s family. Are you ready to help. Here’s how:
I will provide you the links {below} to each of the packages you can bid on. Leave a comment with the highest price you are willing to pay for all the items in the package. Be sure to keep an eye on your package and keep bidding, but be sure not to bid more than what you are willing to pay. You never know, you might win! Once the bidding is over, Crystal will email you a PayPal invoice to collect the funds. Please remember EVERY CENT goes to Mason’s fund.
Here are the packages:
