Embroidery Hoop Art: c/o Take the Cannoli
I’m so excited to introduce you to my friend Nat, who in just a short period of time, has become one of my closest friends. She and I had an instant connection and I feel like we’ve been friends forever. Her friendship truly is a gift from God. Her passion for God, life and being a mommy is something I truly admire about her. Natalie created this amazing hoop after meeting me for the first time and I think it captures every bit of who I am. I love it and can’t wait to hang it in my studio where I can be reminded of these wonderful words all the time.
Until recently my blog was just used to document and communicate my life for out of state family and friends. It has since taken on a life of its own and has morphed into so much more! Through blogging I have opened up about life as a stay at home mama (the joys and sorrows) and talk about both the struggles and triumphs I have gone through. This new year has already been amazing and I have been blessed by new friendships and opportunities through this blog. Not only have I found my voice, I have gained perspective on who I used to be, discovered who I am now, and glimpsed the woman I am becoming. I have just recently launched my online shop consisting mostly of hand embroidered hoop art, which has kind of become my therapeutic outlet. The pieces in my collection are inspired by affirmations, scriptures, hymns and any other little things that bring me joy. My hope is that these hoops will be a blessing to others as they are displayed in homes and workspaces.
I have to thank the Fabulous Alissa for having me share with you all today. I have grown to love her more and more each day. I realized soon after meeting in person that she is the real deal and thank God for bringing her into my life. (seriously she.is.awesome and a FANTASTIC shopping buddy) and because I love her so much I had to give something to her lovely readers as well, a one of kind piece created specifically for Rags to Stitches readers.
Natalie has offered to give ONE of my readers the change to win this Custom Embroidery Hoop. Isn’t it adorable?! I love it!
