I love the snow. Well, let me correct myself. I love to visit the snow… and then go home! I don’t think I could live anywhere it snows because it requires way too much work to get the kids and myself ready to go anywhere. I don’t know how people who live where it snows get anything done. Get up, get dressed, put on jackets, gloves, beanies, snow shoes… attempt to strap kids in car seats when they look like snowmen. Then get to where you’re going, unload kids, take off jackets, hats, gloves only to do your grocery shopping and have to get them re-dressed and loaded up again. I’m exhausted and I’ve only just written about it. Can I just say how much I admire all of you already?! Almost every Christmas we head up to Big Bear Mountain with my in-laws to celebrate Christmas. It’s my very favorite time of year. We go bowling as a family, attend a Christmas Eve service, and have dinner at The Sizzler on Christmas day. This year was especially great because the kids got to enjoy a white Christmas. Then on Christmas night it snowed again so Miss K got to sled down the driveway and build a snowman with her daddy. Too much fun.
