Quick & Easy Rope Braid

It’s Natalia and I’m back again to share some hair love with ya! I’ve shared 3 ways to wear braids and a triple twist updo here at Rags to Stitches and I’m back with another easy one!

My go-to looks are almost always under 10 minutes. I don’t have a lot of time to dilly dally in the bathroom in the mornings, so I gotta make it quick! Today I want to share with you a simple braid that can work so many ways. It’s always good to have these types of styles in your hair repertoire!

The Rope Braid

I love this braid because like I mentioned, it’s so versatile  I am going to give you a ‘how-to’ then show you some options on how you can wear this fun, different braid.

I know it’s a super long picture, but it’s got all the directions right on there! So you can pin away folks!

Here’s a little rundown: Start by taking two sections of hair at the front of your head. Cross them over. Add hair from the hair that’s down to each section like you would a French braid. Cross them over again and repeat until you get to the end of the section you want braided! It’s that easy!

Here is a video if you’re the visual type and you’d like to see how it’s done. Just know that I did this video a while ago, it’s one of my first ones and I don’t know why I look so angry the whole time, I’m not really, promise!!
