Since I’m smack in the middle of party planning {love} for my daughter’s 3rd birthday, I thought I’d repost pictures from her 2nd birthday. P.S All the decorations, cupcakes, cake pops, banners and Miss K’s birthday cake were made by yours truly. I had a blast!!

This year I decided to have an Elmo theme party for my daughters 2nd birthday. She loves Sesame Street, but her favorite character is Elmo. I wanted to make her birthday special so I decided to make a lot of the decorations and the cake pops, cup cakes, and Katelyn’s birthday cake myself. I had so much fun being crafty and my Cricut machine came in so handy. Stay tuned, pretty soon I’ll have a cake pops tutorial for those of you who want to try it. It’s time consuming, but fun!!
The Cake Table set up
Vanilla Cake Pops
Elmo themed cupcakes
Birthday cake for the birthday girl
and what would a party be without birthday banners
Happy Birthday!

Was LITERALLY searching your old posts this week trying to find your Elmo post to … um… "borrow" some ideas. This was when I first found your blog, and I knew that you were a genius. Gracie is in love with Elmo, so I need inspiration!
Happy 3rd planning!

Adorable! I'm all about doing my kids parties in handmade goodness as well. Those Elmo cupcakes are adorable too!
