I love the holiday season! There’s something nostalgic about the weather cooling, snow falling, and the hustle and bustle of the season. This season means a great deal to me mostly because I love to decorate my home, watch Christmas movies and have an excuse to spoil our love ones with thoughtful gifts. There’s something about watching people’s eyes light up when they get something they love that makes all the time and energy used to find just the right gift completely worth it. I don’t want to give a gift just because it’s Christmas, I want to find a gift that’s special, fits who they are and I know they will love for many years to come.
JCPenney or Jacques Penné as we used to call it growing up because you could find higher end merchandise for a more affordable price, was one of our go to’s for holiday shopping. With a large selection to choose from, I’ve always felt that JCPenney has something for everyone. From toys to electronics, clothes and home décor for your friends and family, you’re sure to be able to get everyone on your list crossed off.
This season JCPenney is hosting a new kind of Holiday Challenge. Rather than leaving you feeling overwhelmed by how much you’re spending, they’re challenging you to beat your holiday budget by shopping at JCPenney, giving great gifts, and saving money while doing it.
This year I found some really cute gifts for our family and our children both at JCPenney and at Jacques Penné, their holiday pop up boutique. The holiday boutique is made up of nine specially curated holiday collections: Shine Bright, Tech Yes, Be Well, So Cozy, Oh What Fun, Mingle and Jingle and several more, with handpicked items by Nicole Richie as well. The Holiday Boutique is live online until January 7th and, I’m not going to lie, it was hard to stay focused on shopping for those on my list and not just myself.
This year we took the JCPenney Holiday Challenge and not only did we find some great gifts, we also were able to save money and stay under budget. Like this adorable beanie and scarf (pictured above), cute Christmas stockings for my in laws dogs and some fun items for our daughter. She loves to dance and perform, so I’m positive she’ll love the hair chalk and karaoke mic.
What I love the most was that I was able to get these loved ones crossed off my list and had a savings of over $80 by shopping at JCPenney. This season, don’t get bogged down by the weight of all the people you want and need to shop for and how you’re going to keep it all under budget. Instead, head over to JCPenney or Jacques Penné and enjoy their affordable prices on great valued items! It’s so worth it!!
If you’re still figuring out what to get for those on your list this year, don’t fret; I’ve got you covered. I put together a gift guide of great ideas from JCPenney to help you get everything you need without feeling like you’re breaking the bank while doing it. This gifting season I would love to invite you to take the holiday challenge at JCPenney and beat your holiday budget. Get all you want for less than you think – from hot trending items and holiday must-haves to unexpected finds – all available in store or online at a great value.
