I wish I could put into a few simple, but beautiful words about what this weekend meant to me.
I was broken, loved, prayed over + put back together in a way that only my God could do.
It was powerful
life changing
and left me yearning for more.
And that was just the life track of the conference.
Today I’m recouping.
My sweet new friend I sat next to on the flight to Dallas told me she was taking a mental health day today.
At the time, I told her I wish I could do the same, then I got to thinking, what’s stopping me from doing just that.
So today….
I’m taking a mental health day.
I’m going to love on my littles, enjoy catching up with my husband and just be…
me.
Who knows I might even take a nap.
Please don’t worry, I have every intention of sharing all the wonderful things I learned, I promise.
And I’ll be back tomorrow sharing some fun outfit posts.
After all, I’m sure you’ll appreciate hearing from me more when I’ve had time to put my brain back together.
I love you!
If you weren’t able to make it to the conference this weekend, I loved this post, shared by someone with a beautiful soul, who wasn’t able to attend, but was still touched. Her post left me in tears, good tears about just how powerful God can be and you can’t put him in a box, or in this case a hotel conference room. He proved in powerful ways this weekend that He can show up and meet you anywhere, even the internets.
And thank you to my beautiful friend Nat, who took this picture, that has become one of my favs. Love you friend!

you totally deserve a mental health day! Can’t wait to hear about your time at Influence, but right now your most needed place to be influential is with your littles and your hubs. The rest of us can wait for a day or two! :0)

Good for you! I can’t wait to hear more. I’ve been following the Conference on Twitter and IG. It certainly is apparent God is working in the blog community and I am so encouraged!

I needed one of those today, too.
I wanted to be the one posting the recap the very next day, going on and on about everything I learned. But then I realized that it’s OK to rest in the spirit and let him take his time with us.
Enjoy your day :).
