I’m so excited to reveal Katelyn’s brand new room!! I L.O.V.E it!! It came out even better than I could’ve imagined. Katelyn finally has a girly room. I wish you could’ve seen the look on her face when she got home and saw it. She was beyond excited!!
Remember in my Tips & Tricks post when I mentioned making sure you know your room? Then I mentioned how Katelyn’s room is the first room you see when you look down our hallway so it was important to us that the color of her room complimented the colors on the rest of our walls. Doesn’t it look great?! I love the Anthropologie-esc feel!! I just want to spend hours in her room.
Here’s the view from the hallway

View from the other corner of her room. We hung pictures of Katelyn from our recent family photo shoot. The yellow, aqua and blue colors from the pictures are the perfect compliment.
I sewed the pennant banners for Katelyn’s room. I love all the fabrics and how the colors all tie in together.
I also sewed these cute pillows for Katelyn’s bed
Here’s a view of Katelyn’s dresser with the pictures we had taken of her on her 1st birthday.

I just adore the banners and the color choice! I always thought if I had a girl I'd want that color for a room! You did a wonderful job.
Looks amazing! We were going to do True Turquoise as well, but my readers voted on Misty Aqua. Wait until you see my daughter's room, I think you and I have similar tastes (we have flags too, love how cheery they are!) Great job!
