Today’s linky party is a cry for help as well as a new recipe idea. I have a confession to make. I feed this to my children.
Ahh! I know, you can groan. It’s so bad. My kids are not those kids who wake up, drink some milk and will relax and watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse while I cook breakfast. Nope! They sleep in till almost 8:30 some mornings and when they wake up, they wake up hungry. So, in desperation I feed them Eggo Frozen Pancakes and Waffles. I need new ideas! Will you link up some?
The other night I made Trader Joe’s Pesto Chicken, Cesar salad and garlic bread for the hubby and I for dinner. It was so tasty! Trader Joe’s is amazing. I feel like I can get so many great meals there without feeling as though I have broken the bank when I leave. Their Pesto Chicken is prepackaged in their fresh meats aisle and the marinade is delicious. I didn’t want to load up on carbs so I settled on a Cesar Salad with lite Cesar dressing, croutons, and parmesan cheese. I highly recommend this meal. It only took about 15 minutes or so to grill up the chicken on the stove, 6 minutes to cook 2 pieces of garlic toast and 5 minutes to prepare the salad. That’s under 30 minutes to make a yummy meal.
Last week we had 10 people link up yummy recipes, I hope we can get more this week. Tell your friends, share the news of our linky party. It ends on Wednesday.

Love your blog! I feed my daughter Eggo Waffles too… :/
I've been thinking of taking a day to make my own waffles and pancakes and freezing them so I can heat them like Eggo's.
I'm here from the hop! Following and looking forward to reading more.

Dropping by from the hop. My darlings are close in age like yours. They are 3 and 21 months, and are 15 months apart. Breakfast around here is usually scrambled eggs with a little cheese sprinkled on top and toast. If they are really hungry, I will give them yogurt or fruit to snack on while I cook. Nothing exciting, but it does cook up pretty fast and easy. Cute blog!

Hi! I'm your newest follower from the blog hop! 🙂 Liked you on Facebook too! We love Trader Joe's too!!! You can find really healthy, great tasting cereal without sugar as an idea for breakfast there. Their whole grain pancake mix is pretty safe too.
